Okavango Delta |

The Delta is really beautiful. We did not fly over the Delta, but we heard that it is absolutely amazing. One gets a great view of the swamps. One can also do a Mokoro Trip through the Delta. We would highly recommend that. One sees the swamps from another perspective. |

We just drove through it, seemed like a really nice park though. |

Feeling and Opinions on Botswana
Botswana was a country that we did not plan to visit because we heard that it was really expensive. However we found out that if one camps it is not really more expensive than other places we have visited. We actually had the cheapest camping there for 1 US$ a night at a luxury hotel. The Okavango Delta was beautiful and highly recommended to visit. It is something different that what one normally gets to see in other parks. They have actually a descent bus system, that seemed to only fail us, but not showing up a couple of times or 7 hours late. On a whole Botswana is a nice place to visit, just make sure you bring a tent or it will be expensive.
